Latest

So this month Molly and I were asked to go and find out the top 10 dog friendly places to stay in the UK.

So with our tails wagging, off we went and in no particular order these are the fab locations and dog friendly places we found.

Ardgartan Argyll, Scotland
Hosted by Forset Holidays

At the edge of Argyll Forest Park, pine-covered mountains sweep down to meet the shore of Loch Long where 40 cabins sit, nestled within 720 square miles of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Driving past tranquil lochs and majestic mountains, you’ll begin to understand why this breathtaking landscape has inspired writers and painters for centuries…

Seaspray Shores
Hosted by Plum Guide

Bold and bright, this home quirkily blends style with practicality and space, but the location is what truly catches the eye. Right on the doorstep of Pevensey Bay Beach, you can spy the sea from the balcony. Around the back, there’s a small lawn next to the patio seating and hot tub where kids can run around. Though the eclectic decor might not be everyone’s cup of tea, the home is well-equipped, comfortable and large enough for a group of fifteen not to get under each other’s feet. Plus, the South Downs or the 1066 trail is nearby if you’re up for something more active.

Deerpark, Cornwall
Hosted by Forset Holidays

45 cabins at Deerpark offer a complete escape from the busy world. Far from the madding crowd, Deerpark is home to rare plant species and an abundance of wildlife including, naturally, roe deer. Just 15 minutes away is the Cornish coast and the pretty fishing villages of Looe and Polperro.

Keldy, Yorkshire
Hosted by Forest Holidays

Our Keldy forest lodges and log cabins with hot tubs are situated deep in the forest; some are just visible between the trees and others enjoy an outlook onto grassy, sunlit glades. Follow the forest road as it drops deep into the wooded valley and feel the calm of the forest wrap around you. Keldy, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, is a hidden world of sunlit glades, tumbling brooks, and shy woodland creatures.

The Golden Oak TreeHouse looks pawsome.
The Hobbit House, Radstock
Hosted by Plum Guide

Leaping straight off the pages of Tolkien’s masterworks, treat yourself to a magical subterranean escape in this remote corner of the Somerset countryside. Its cosy design makes for a wonderful retreat for couples looking to spend time together, far removed from daily distractions. In addition, the sofa bed makes it suitable for family getaways too.

Porthcothon Bay, Cornwall
Hosted by Airbnb

A beautifully renovated and extended cottage, boasts gorgeous interiors with a separate spa building with bar. A heady mix of old and new, ideal for beach life and exploring Cornwall.

Ace of Clubs, Chippen Norton
Hosted by Plum Guide

Situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, you’ll find plenty of scenic walking trails. Enjoy a picturesque stroll to the centre of Great Tew, where you can stop for a coffee, pastry or homemade ice cream at the village deli. Of course, a pub lunch should always be on the cards – and you’ll find the Falkland Arms just a minute’s walk away. For a real treat, Soho Farmhouse is located just a seven-minute drive away from here too.

Swn Y Nant, Breacon Beacons

There are plenty of walks to be had from the property; it is 6 miles to the historic town of Brecon with its array of coffee shops, small local independent shops, and art galleries. There is something here for everyone, and for those looking for more adventures then why not climb the high peaks of Pen Y Fan and take in the breathtaking views of the rolling countryside?

Delamere Forest, Cheshire
Hosted by Forest Holidays

Delamere Forest’s 66 woodland cabins are dotted among a mix of broadleaf and evergreen trees spreading over 2,400 acres on the Cheshire Plain, blending harmoniously into the forest landscape.

There’s so much to explore in Cheshire, with picturesque views waiting around every corner.
