Utilising an antique high-back mahogany chair frame, luxury craftsmen have covered it in a rich Royal Purple velvet from the supplier of fabrics to the monarch.

The chair is draped with a cream silk-lined, faux ermine-trimmed robe and adorned with a .5 carat box-set baguette diamond pin, set in silver together with an antique Fabergé-style diamond-set Royal Purple enamel egg pin brooch.

It rests on “Parade Black” painted splayed legs with floor protectors.

The Regal Aesthetic:

King Charles’ taste in home decor and furniture is nothing short of regal. He is known for favoring classic and timeless designs that exude elegance and sophistication. The use of rich materials such as mahogany, walnut, and oak, often adorned with intricate carvings and gilded accents, is a hallmark of his preferred aesthetic. His choice of colors tends to revolve around deep, jewel-toned hues like deep blues, purples, and rich burgundies, which add an opulent touch to his living spaces.

Antique Treasures:

One of King Charles’ passions is collecting antique furniture pieces that have historical significance. He has an impressive collection of pieces from different eras, including pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Victorian periods. These treasures not only showcase his appreciation for craftsmanship but also serve as a testament to the enduring beauty of the past.

Comfort and Opulence:

While King Charles appreciates the grandeur of his furniture, he also values comfort and functionality. His upholstered sofas and armchairs are not only exquisitely designed but are also inviting and plush. He believes that a regal home should be comfortable for both himself and his guests, where they can relax and enjoy the opulence of their surroundings.

While King Charles leans heavily towards classic and traditional designs, he also appreciates a touch of modernity. He often incorporates contemporary pieces and technology seamlessly into his home, ensuring that it meets the demands of modern living without compromising on its regal charm.

King Charles Spaniel and Pets:

Beyond his impeccable taste in home decor, King Charles has a heartwarming attachment to his spaniels. These loyal and affectionate dogs are not just pets; they are cherished members of the royal household. Like most of us, King Charles often allows his spaniels to share his regal chairs for cuddles and companionship.
