Lara Julian, an abstract artist based in London’s Hampstead, originally from Siberia, comes from an artistic family. Initially working in banking, she later embraced her artistic calling. In 2014, she studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York before continuing her education at the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
Lara’s artistic identity revolves around her unique exploration of colour as a powerful, independent force. Drawing inspiration from artists like Bridget Riley, Patrick Heron, and Carlos Cruz-Diez, she incorporates lines into her work. Lara also deconstructs Old Masters’ paintings to reinvent them in a modern light.
